Having previously been an informal committee containing members of Inland Waterways Association, North Staffs & South Cheshire Branch and Trent & Mersey Canal Society, Burslem Port Trust was established to take the project forward: the trustees include eminent people from the community with a wide range of backgrounds.
IWA and TMCS jointly own the Trust and we are grateful for the practical and financial support they continue to offer to our project.
